COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE
Facial enhancement acupuncture has been proven to promote the body's own collagen production. This, along with increased blood circulation to the surface of the skin on the face helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, brighten dull complexions, and lift sagging skin. The treatment consists of 10 sessions where hair thin needles are inserted into acupuncture points in the face, followed by facial gua sha.

TUINA (PRONOUNCED TWEE-NAH)
Thought to be the oldest system of body work, Tuina incorporates Chinese medicine principles with massage techniques unique to this system to enhance acupuncture treatments.

CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE
Based on thousands of years of research and observation, Chinese herbal medicine is one of the oldest forms of medicine practiced today. Each formula is uniquely compounded to fit each individual patient.

NUTRITIONAL AND LIFESTYLE COACHING
Many aspects of healing begin with our every day decisions- from what time we get up to what kinds of things we should eat, these things can either help or hurt our condition. What you'll see at Downtown Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine is that we try to leave no stone unturned when it comes to optimizing your life for your health and wellness. We might suggest small exercises, sleep routine adjustments, additions to breakfast, books to read or podcasts to listen to, or a host of various lifestyle events that will work to only further your experience in healing with Chinese medicine.
